Brook Gipson
Brook Gipson is an East Coast transplant who has called Southwest Missouri home since 2008. Admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2020, she cut her teeth in family law locally at Legal Services of Southern Missouri before joining our firm. She attended Missouri Southern State University, where she double majored in Literature and Technical Writing. She went on to Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and graduated with both her Juris Doctorate and Masters in Law in Taxation. Brook has a passion for family law, understanding that it may be the most difficult time in a client’s life and seeks to make the process more bearable.
Brook specializes in high-conflict family law cases, successfully carrying cases from consult to trial. She has a background in domestic violence and trauma-informed advocacy. Her background in Tax Law allows her to tackle high-asset cases with ease and understanding. Brook serves as a Guardian ad Litem in family law cases, representing children’s best interests. Brook also practices in estate planning and probate.
Brook wants her clients to know she’s always on their side and truly wants the best for them in all aspects of their lives. She approaches her clients from a holistic point of view and encourages clients to look at the bigger picture instead of the right now. She works tirelessly to make clients feel supported, prepared, heard, and understood as they navigate the family court system.
